Efficient and Reliable

I have been using the CA Mobile OTP app for more than 7 years, and it has proven to be one of the best applications for generating one-time passwords (OTP). It works flawlessly and does its job efficiently.

Easy to Use

The app is user-friendly and straightforward. It eliminates the delay in receiving OTP due to network issues, making it extremely useful, especially for NRI's. I have used it with Bank of Baroda, and it has been a seamless experience.

Dual Device Compatibility

One feature of the app that I find slightly inconvenient is its reliance on dual devices. It seems to work overcautiously, and sometimes, the dual device setup becomes an obstacle in generating and passing OTP. This can be a security concern as it increases the possibility of self-home hacking. Personally, I prefer using a non-dual or ordinary handset exclusively for BOB net banking to mitigate this risk.

Occasional Startup Issues

While the app generally works well, there have been a few instances where I encountered some startup issues. However, these were minor inconveniences and did not significantly affect the overall performance of the app.

Account Blockage Incident

As a result, I was unable to log in to my account using the OTP generated by this app. I reached out to my bank, and they informed me that I would need to seek support from the app's developer or wait for them to remove net banking from my account and restart it, which could take up to 15-20 days.

Proper Data Entry for Federal Bank

For users who are unable to use the app for Federal Bank, it is crucial to fill in all the data properly, including the server URL, user ID, and activation code. The server URL and activation code can be obtained through an SMS from Fednet. Additionally, if you encounter any login issues, you can try the "forget pin" option, fill in the necessary details, and submit. This should trigger an SMS to your registered phone number.

While it may have occasional startup issues and compatibility concerns with dual devices, it remains one of the best options available.
